26 Weeks
How far along? 26 weeks.
Total weight gain: 14.5 pounds gained was the official
word at this week’s appointment. But I have probably put on an extra five since
then…couldn’t resist a Mooyah turkey burger for lunch today... Moooo.
Maternity clothes? Some of my regular clothes and some
maternity items along with a few normal items in slightly larger sizes! The dress
in this week’s pic was an online order…a risk I don’t usually take with
clothes! It fits perfectly though with room to grow, and I don’t even have to
hem it up which is the miracle of all miracles! I love it!
Stretch marks? Nope!
Sleep: Sigh. Sleep. How I miss you.
Best moment this week: Seeing a 3D glimpse of Baby Trent at our doctor’s appointment. He kept his hands mostly in front of his face, but we did get to see his cute little mouth! Also getting my haircut…it has been at least four months…I could not go another day. Definitely right up there with the ultrasound for best moment of the week.
Miss Anything? Just sleeping really…and swimsuits...
Movement: Yep..tons!
Food cravings: I have relaxed a little bit after starting on some reflux medication. I still can not get enough peanut butter which I’m sure many people would shake their finger at me for…I’m sorry!! I try to limit it, but I just have SUCH cravings for it.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope.
Gender: BOY!
Labor Signs: No.
Symptoms: Reflux.
Belly Button in or out? I think I would consider it half and half at this time. Does that make me an optimist?
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy and excited. Can’t believe I still have like three months left…but I’m thinking it will go pretty quickly.

25 Weeks
How far along? 25 weeks.
Total weight gain: Sticking around 14 pounds after a
little bit of a loss this past week.
Maternity clothes? Some mixed in.
Stretch marks? Not yet…the mystery one from last week disappeared!
Sleep: I can’t even start…. Reflux has kicked in so I have to sleep propped up on like five pillows and also try to manage turning on my side. Not to mention hourly bathroom trips! Ahhh..I’m so tired.
Best moment this week: Again nothing really specific. Just happy to see a new day each day.
Miss Anything? Sleeping. Eating.
Movement: He has been super active this week!
Food cravings: I have changed my diet sooo much this week because of the reflux issue..so yes…I am craving everything now.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope.
Gender: BOY!

24 Weeks
How far along? 24 weeks.
Total weight gain: 13-14 pounds.
Maternity clothes? Yes! Thank you, Target.
Stretch marks? I think I see a hint of one creeping up!! Oh well…all worth it!
Sleep: I am still having problems with this…always wake up having turned onto my back. And always have to wake up to pee!
Best moment this week: Nothing specific, just waking up each day to a new day.
Miss Anything? Sleeping normally!
Movement: Still not quite as much as before, but I love being able to feel and see it when he does.
Food cravings: ICE CREAM! I NEVER eat ice cream and always thought the pregnancy “craving” was just an excuse to eat it…but I had a craving for it and now can’t stop!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nada at the moment.
Gender: BOY!

Symptoms: Just constantly having to pee!

More Nursery Updates and....The Name!
This weekend we worked on a project I have been dying to do for a while....a super cute frame wall! I have plans to put a few things in the middle of some of the frames, but I am starting to like them empty! We will have to see. Matt also put together this shelf and found another monkey item to add to the collection :)
We also decided we are not that bothered to share the first name now...especially via blog since I am still sticking at a whopping FOUR followers, two or three of which probably already know or have guessed the name by now anyway! The River Trent runs through Matt's hometown of Nottingham, and he has always loved the name. I fell in love with it when he told me years ago, and we are so excited to finally get to use it! These are just those plain brown papier mache letters from Hobby Lobby that I covered and modge podged with scrapbook paper.
So there you have it...getting closer and closer to being finished! Still have to iron the curtains and do the edging/molding along with a few other touches like a mirror and some other wall art, but all the major stuff is done! Yay! We were going to recover an ottoman for the glider, but on one of our many Target trips we stumbled across this PERFECT orange one that is a storage ottoman, super light and was only $17! Can't beat that!

First Nursery Pics!
This weekend we went to town painting the nursery! There are still a few edging/molding things to go, but it is mostly done! We set up the bedding and a few other things to see how it was all going to come together, and so far we love it! I got the colors and striped walls I wanted, and Matt got a few monkey touches that he wanted (more of those to be added, I'm sure)...way to compromise! Now comes the fun part..all the wall decor and special touches. More to come!
Bevo is LOVING the rug...might have to buy another!
Glider/swiveler we bought on awesome floor sample sale...just have to recover an ottoman now to match the room. And my favorite little Fox stuffed animal...I have had my eye on him for over a year now!
IKEA dresser we bought for SUPER cheap in the "damaged" clearance section with just a small scratch on it...BEFORE....

20 Weeks - HALFWAY THERE!
How far along? 20 weeks.
Total weight gain: 9 pounds.
Maternity clothes? I don’t even want to TRY and wear
any of my regular clothes.
Stretch marks? Not yet. I invested in Bio Oil as an addition to my cocoa butter lotion…hoping to stay stretch mark free as long as possible.
Sleep: Not the greatest..he is kicking my bladder constantly.
Best moment this week: Getting half of the nursery done!! Which is why we had to switch locations for our weekly picture. Pics to come..
Miss Anything? All of my regular clothes…regular swimsuits…etc. Feeling so huge.
Movement: Not as much as last week…he must have changed position and is literally standing on top of my bladder doing RiverDance or something.
Food cravings: Everything sweet! And cantaloupe! Omg I must have eaten three or four FULL cantaloupes by myself in the past week or two. Can’t get enough!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope.
Gender: BOY!
Labor Signs: No.
Symptoms: Can morning sickness START at 20 weeks? This past week I have felt terrible from exactly 930-1030am everyday. Going to get it checked out soon..

Stretch marks? Not yet.
Sleep: It would be great if I didn’t have to pee every hour on the hour.
Best moment this week: Finding out that we are for SURE having the little BOY we were hoping for!
Miss Anything? Summer poolside drinking.
Movement: He moves SO much..I love it!! I never get anything done because I constantly just sit with my hand on my stomach.
Food cravings: Nothing in particular this week…other than hot dogs. I don’t know what it is! Matt grilled me up a batch…yumm.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope.
Gender: BOY!!!!

18 Weeks
How far along? 18 weeks.
Total weight gain: Sticking right around six pounds, but I feel absolutely HUGE this week.
Maternity clothes? Some maternity things and some regular.
Stretch marks? Not yet. Fingers crossed.
Sleep: So uncomfortable not being allowed to sleep on my back OR my stomach.
Best moment this week: Feeling movement and kicks!! Matt is even able to feel them from the outside now! So very exciting.
Miss Anything? My body.
Movement: Yes!! Feeling movements and fairly strong “kick” feelings. I love it!
Food cravings: Nothing really specific this week.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not at the moment.
Gender: 5 more days!
Labor Signs: No.
Symptoms: Heartburn at night..ughh!
Belly Button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Just worried and nervous. I don’t know if I will EVER be able to relax. It seems like every single day I find something new that could possibly go wrong and fixate on it.
