First Nursery Pics!
This weekend we went to town painting the nursery! There are still a few edging/molding things to go, but it is mostly done! We set up the bedding and a few other things to see how it was all going to come together, and so far we love it! I got the colors and striped walls I wanted, and Matt got a few monkey touches that he wanted (more of those to be added, I'm sure)...way to compromise! Now comes the fun part..all the wall decor and special touches. More to come!
Bevo is LOVING the rug...might have to buy another!
Glider/swiveler we bought on awesome floor sample sale...just have to recover an ottoman now to match the room. And my favorite little Fox stuffed animal...I have had my eye on him for over a year now!
IKEA dresser we bought for SUPER cheap in the "damaged" clearance section with just a small scratch on it...BEFORE....

20 Weeks - HALFWAY THERE!
How far along? 20 weeks.
Total weight gain: 9 pounds.
Maternity clothes? I don’t even want to TRY and wear
any of my regular clothes.
Stretch marks? Not yet. I invested in Bio Oil as an addition to my cocoa butter lotion…hoping to stay stretch mark free as long as possible.
Sleep: Not the greatest..he is kicking my bladder constantly.
Best moment this week: Getting half of the nursery done!! Which is why we had to switch locations for our weekly picture. Pics to come..
Miss Anything? All of my regular clothes…regular swimsuits…etc. Feeling so huge.
Movement: Not as much as last week…he must have changed position and is literally standing on top of my bladder doing RiverDance or something.
Food cravings: Everything sweet! And cantaloupe! Omg I must have eaten three or four FULL cantaloupes by myself in the past week or two. Can’t get enough!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope.
Gender: BOY!
Labor Signs: No.
Symptoms: Can morning sickness START at 20 weeks? This past week I have felt terrible from exactly 930-1030am everyday. Going to get it checked out soon..
Belly Button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Just nervous.

19 Weeks
Better late than never..
How far along? 19 weeks.
Total weight gain: 8 pounds.
Maternity clothes? Definitely.
Stretch marks? Not yet.
Sleep: It would be great if I didn’t have to pee every hour on the hour.
Best moment this week: Finding out that we are for SURE having the little BOY we were hoping for!
Miss Anything? Summer poolside drinking.
Movement: He moves SO much..I love it!! I never get anything done because I constantly just sit with my hand on my stomach.
Food cravings: Nothing in particular this week…other than hot dogs. I don’t know what it is! Matt grilled me up a batch…yumm.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope.

18 Weeks
How far along? 18 weeks.
Total weight gain: Sticking right around six pounds, but I feel absolutely HUGE this week.
Maternity clothes? Some maternity things and some regular.
Stretch marks? Not yet. Fingers crossed.
Sleep: So uncomfortable not being allowed to sleep on my back OR my stomach.
Best moment this week: Feeling movement and kicks!! Matt is even able to feel them from the outside now! So very exciting.
Miss Anything? My body.
Movement: Yes!! Feeling movements and fairly strong “kick” feelings. I love it!
Food cravings: Nothing really specific this week.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not at the moment.
Gender: 5 more days!
Labor Signs: No.
Symptoms: Heartburn at night..ughh!
Belly Button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Just worried and nervous. I don’t know if I will EVER be able to relax. It seems like every single day I find something new that could possibly go wrong and fixate on it.

17 Weeks
My normal photographer and normal camera were out of town this week...but I think we did alright!
How far along? 17 weeks.
Total weight gain: About six pounds.
Maternity clothes? YES! But who designs maternity shorts?? They are SO BAD. I just went up a size (or three) in some target shorts and feel great now! I was getting to that “omg I literally have nothing to wear” stage. Even my pajamas don’t fit.
Stretch marks? Nope.
Sleep: Starting to toss and turn a little bit trying to find a comfortable position. I stayed at my parents’ this week in their guest room king size bed, and now that is pretty much number one on my “next to purchase” list.
Best moment this week: Getting to spend so much time with my parents…shopping with my mom!!
Miss Anything? Sleeping on my stomach.
Movement: Felt a little something early this week and since then just subtle movements when I am lying really still. Waiting for something more noticeable though.
Food cravings: OMG!!! I FINALLLLLLLY got a hot dog!!! THANK YOU to Renee for finding the all beef, nitrate free, pregnancy-safe hot dogs. I have already bought another package.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not this week.
Gender: Waiting for the official confirmation on June 11.
Labor Signs: No.
Symptoms: Nothing major. Some back pain which is making me start to do the pregnant waddle…isn’t it too early for that??
Belly Button in or out? In, although it is starting to look a little weird where the piercing was. Sigh…if only I had thought of these things when I was 17.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or Moody most of the time: With my husband being out of town this week I was all over the map…so sad and missing him but so happy to be with my parents. Little things are starting to really set me off into tears though! Like a baby bunny on our back porch all alone and scared… wahhhh L
